2 Months Until Iowa!

In 2 months I will be leaving on my new adventure for the AmeriCorps NCCC. Beginning my application process on Christmas of last year I cannot believe that it is almost finally time to go. I have yet to find out my travel information and probably won’t for quite a while.

We recently had a conference call where we discussed the types of projects, how they are developed and how they are chosen. We won’t find out the projects we will be doing until we arrive to campus, go through training, and our teams are assigned. We head out on our first project on March 17^th and I cannot wait.
We have seen a little snow here on Nantucket and it has been rather cold but nothing compared to Iowa. I have been checking the weather lately and it has been as low as -10 degrees Fahrenheit (Brrrrr).
